Why Safari Supertramp?
Safari Supertramp started with one car, a bad idea, and a driveway full of parts. The best Porsche conversations were never happening in showrooms. They were happening at midnight, under a work light, with somebody shrugging and saying “let’s just try it.”
I built my first Safari because I wanted to take a car everyone told me was too precious and point it down a gravel road. Lifted it, wrapped the arches in mud, bolted on a rack, and loved it more the dirtier it got. Somewhere in that process the car stopped being a museum piece and started being mine.
That’s what a Safari build community means to me — people who’d rather use the car than protect it. Air-cooled purists, Boxster bargain hunters, Cayenne-swapped weirdos, brand-new Dakar owners. Different budgets, same instinct.
Show the real thing
Cover shots are welcome, but so are jack stands, wiring nightmares, and the parts that didn't fit.

Drive the thing
Trailer queens are fine elsewhere. Around here, dust on the fenders counts as documentation.
